The Linux Mint site
The site was unreachable between Friday night and Sunday morning.
There are indications that the problem started earlier, some have reported problems already on Wednesday
This was due to problems with the nameservers at Servage which have caused problems before.
We hope to be able to change registrar without problems, however that seems to be a problem...
This only affected linuxmint.com, linuxmint.de, the torrent tracker and the IRC channel all worked.

Development
The work on Daryna beta 021 is progressing and soon we will see a new release
A "miniCD" edition is on its way for Daryna... 350MB fits on a
mini-CD and should run on computers with less than 128MB RAM. BlahblahX
is the maintainer.
We are currently working with Linspire to make CNR available under Linux Mint. [4]
Alberto Milone has released a new version of Envy with the latest ATI drivers that finally will make ATI work OK under Linux

There seems to be fewer posts in the forum - the downtime hit the forum. Go on and ask your questions.

Fluxbox has reached version 1.0.0 [8]
and if that is mentioned we need to mention that gnome has reached 2.20 [9]
Asus has introduced a motherboard with a small embedded Linux distribution - five seconds boot and you can do things like web surfing.

It's not easy to keep track of the rapid development in the computer world.
