Encrypted Wireless Setup in Wicd

To setup an encrypted Wifi network in Wicd, do the following:

Open up Wicd Network Manager (from Menu > Internet > Wicd Network Manager or the Wicd icon in the System Tray)
Click the arrow next to your network to expand the settings
Click Advanced Settings (a new dialog will open)
Select 'Use Encryption'
Select the type of encryption from the drop down list
Enter the passphrase/key
Click OK
Click Connect
