A new version of mintInstall is ready:
Changes:
- .mint files now use the Linux Mint logo
- mintInstall is now in the menu and shows a welcome screen which lets the user search for software or launch the software portal.
- that same screen appears if "mintInstall" is typed without arguments in a terminal. (this was confusing for the user in previous versions)
- the summary window is now modal and centered
- when mintInstall is closed or canceled the sources.list file is restored.

Re: mintInstall 2.7 released
Just a little warning to those running Celena & Cassandra; mintInstall is up to v3.0 now, and it broke my Celena install. It installs fine, and even installs _some_ .mint files fine. But after installing certain .mint applications it breaks Nautilus. I have had to reinstall Celena several times in the last week and finally identified mintInstall as the culprit (and now I will have to reinstall yet again).
I have been troubled by this since mintInstall 2.9, and 3.0 is still broken. Or maybe it is no longer backwards compatible with Feisty based distros? Once Nautilus is broken the only "fix" I have found is reinstalling the OS.
