@kinetics - can you tell us more about how you set up your panel (with all same colour)?

@DSP8000 - welcome ;) and could you tell us a little more about your desktop theme? It looks really nice. Pretty smooth fonts also.

red-e-made asked me the same question. I remember now that I deleted some stuff from the panel (probably from just playing around) and then I think I added them back in through the control center (I think). Somehow things just went transparent and I got those 2 vertical bars in the panel. I wish I could remember more but I can't duplicate it in Celena.

Tnx, it is a modified Black Vista, I tweaked it a bit to my liking. The fonts are Lucida Grande. Yesterday I did upgrade from Cassandra to Celena, very pleased, runs great. I'm testing Ubuntu 7.10beta today. I'm comming to MiNT from the fisrt release of Ubuntu, then 6.06, then Gentoo, then Sabayon... So far MiNT is my favourite :D

Agust,

Thanks for the compliments. In the past week or so I've had a script running that almost cost me my Web Site. I was trying to translate my Site into multiple languages. But it was consuming resources with jobs that were not running and a queue was forming slowing my Site down on my shared hosted server.

That was close.

Anway, I -- like you -- do our best to promote Linux Mint where we can.

Great Distro!

Still clean. Made in GIMP, combining Yakushima forest and the lovely Suiseiseki.

Well,

I've recovered from several Web Site SEF issues. That almost took my Site(s) down.

You have to love Mint. Here's my latest Desktop -

I finally got GDM to work with 2 different window managers, ended up having to make a file type in what I wanted, make that executable then have GDM execute that. Sheesh!! what a POS GDM is, lol.

Anyway this is what I set it up to do for now haha:
Oh ho! I see someone else is a fan of Gin-chan. :D

Here's my latest, with a newly-installed Cairo-dock. EDIT: Also changed the folder icons and made them nameless. Who needs boring old manilla folders, am I right? Click to biggify:
