How about supplying more specific infos? e.g. what's precise error message you get?

And how about explaining your partitioning so we know which OS is on which partition?

Sorry, but we don't have crystal balls here

It may be the UUID decease :)
When you installed Ubuntu got a new UUID
Check the wiki
http://www.linuxmint.com/wiki/index.php ... _a_problem
And I agree with scorp123

Just do as the wiki tells you
Use the /dev/sdx part to mount and skip the UUID
like

Code: Select all

/dev/sda1 media/sda1 ntfs and more...
or remove the entry for that disk completely and let mintDisk mount it
I think that's the offending disk
Change in the same manner for the rest

Code: Select all

/dev/sda4 / ext3 and more...

That's one way of doing it - however the next time something is changed in the basic setup of your pc you may get the problem again, so I advice you to use /dev... istead of UUID. In Celena UUID is skipped for Celena (but not the other entries)

If you read this forum you will see that one of the most common problems, and one that I've almost worn out a keyboard on :), is that of changing UUID
So Clem, who reads the forum, figured he should change that...
I figure - I haven't discussed this with him :)
