You might have better luck in downloading Linux Mint if you use the official torrent. One rarely gets a bad download via a torrent. There are plenty of seeders right now, so you should have your ISO fairly quickly. Have fun!

I have the best regular downloads from the University of Crete mirror. Though, I try to use torrents as much as possible. Good luck. I hope you are up and running soon enough.
