graphics file message.mint missing, press a key (solution)

i have some notes on this somewhere.

gfxmenu=(hd0,1)/grub/message.mint
should be
gfxmenu=(hd0,1)/boot/grub/message.mint
if you are going to use it.

search the forums, im sure someone has done this before.
most likely in tips and tricks

It really depends on the partition you're looking at.. if it's the main partition then the file is in /boot/grub/elyssa.mint... if it's the boot partition then it's in /grub/elyssa.mint

Doesn't work..

gfxmenu=(hd0,1)/boot/grub/message.mint
Works 100%
