2. mjpegtools_1.8.0-0.5_i386.deb
3. mpgtx_1.3.1-4_i386.deb
4. wxsvg_1.0b7_i386.deb
5. dvdstyler_1.5.1_i386.deb

Hello All,

Could someone please post specific instructions for installing software that is available like this (compressed file download). I am a newb to linux and don't quite understand the manual installation process. I'm sure there is a how-to somewhere that someone can point me to.

You can double click the .deb and click install.
You can also right click the folder and open terminal here and run:

Code: Select all

sudo dpkg -i *.deb
