That was the only way I could keep the file size small enough to upload.

If I can be of any more help to you on making GDM themes please let me know.

Is that because of gnome-look.org filesize restrictions, or a limitation of the theme format? 'Cause in my experience, zipping images makes a JPEG and a PNG about the same.

I deleted Mint-Green and Mint-Green 2 GDM Themes form gnome-look.org today. I discovered that the person that posted the wallpaper I made the themes from was not the artist that created the artwork. I looked at the original artwork created by ve1n and found that it was not released under GPL, it was released "for personal use only unless permission granted by the artist".

I was unable to contact ve1n to ask for his permission to use the artwork, so the right thing to do was to remove the two GDM Themes. I am glad that the person I thought was the author came forward and said that it was not his work.

I apologise for this mix up and hope you understand why I removed the two themes.

I posted the Mint Glass wallpaper on kde-look so people that run Mint KDE CE could use it on their desktops if they like. I was surprised to see that I had a comment from texstar!

You need to go to "Logon Window", "Local" and add the GDM Theme there.
