MintMenu Freeze ups.

MintMenu Freeze ups.

Never had this problem in Cassandra but in Celena any time I install a program via synaptic or any other way it temporarily freezes MintMenu. If I wait a minute or so I can then once more click on the Menu button.

So basicaly after a program install when I click on the menu button it does nothing untill a minute or so later. Any ideas?

It's a known problem... Lars made improvements to mintMenu which will hopefully come in Daryna. I think it's related to memory leaks and the re-reading of the pool of applications being too slow...

... also explains why mintMenu takes more time than other applets to load after you log in.
