Hi,
mintDesktop 2.0 was released in Romeo. Nothing much is new in this release but as the tool is ready to be included in Elyssa we want to translate it and test it as much as possible.
Changes:
- HIG. Some work was made to make the graphical interface look a bit better (margins, etc..).
- "Documents" didn't work in Daryna (Gnome didn't support it), so it was removed in mintDesktop 2.0.
How to install it:
- Make sure to have the Romeo repository in your sources.list
- Upgrade to the newest mintdesktop (apt update; apt install mintdesktop)
Translations:
mintDesktop 2.0 supports unicode and special characters. We want it to support as many languages as possible, so if you happen to speak anything else than English, please help us translate it.
Read this thread and participate in the translation effort: http://www.linuxmint.com/forum/viewtopi ... =43&t=8670
Bugs and feedback:
This is going to be part of Elyssa so don't hesitate to report bugs or feedback by replying to this thread.
Status:
mintDesktop reached code-freeze. No additional work is planned for it.
Clem.

Re: mintDesktop 2.0 released in Romeo
I like the refinements! mintDesktop has a nice polished and refined look to it! Very clean look and it has a similar style to the other Mint tools.
Nice work!
