Amarok doesn't crossfade between songs, but fades song out when song is stoped. Can this be confirmed?
Edit: I took a look at http://amarok.kde.org/blog/archives/809 ... rok-2.html. Meaning that this feature is missing in amarok2 not only in LMKDE.

Re: Linux Mint 6 KDE RC1 Bug Thread
Oh and an other thing: on a installed system mintinstall.py undertitle ".hidden/mintinstall.py.desktop" is shown when I look for mint "apps" in the kde start search thing, but without a mint-logo.

Re: Linux Mint 6 KDE RC1 Bug Thread
Nice work! Just installed it some minutes ago. Good work Major trouble:I have some troubles with strig-desktop search. Seems to be a kubuntu bug. Solution http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1071376.html should be implemented in LMKDE6. Hardwaredriver-menu pops up, but i can't choose anythin...

Hi smin!
Take a look at:

Mintupdate issue
I could need a hint. My Mintupdate is not working properly. That means: It just doesn't show me when updates are available. When ever I do a manual sudo aptitude update...and updates are available, then Mintupdate shows that updates are possible. But MUpdate doesn't do it by itself. Anyhow mintupdat...

Re: Newbie question about 2 applications
Hej Seba! Husse's answer is absolutely right. There is no need to have an antivir-SW for Linux right now. There are AFAIK no existing viruses for Linux, cool he ;-) ? Ok: to be honest when I was starting to use Linux I felt very insecure, because I didn't have any Antivir-SW. And the use of the term...

Hi! Now, please help me out here. I think that I am missing something important in all this problem. What I understood is that: It is not a good idea to have an update-manager (that comes from ubuntu) that wants to update LinuxMint up to a new distro level of ubuntu. (Like cassandra>gutsy). I do und...

Jabber (Xmpp)
Hi! Here is a serious rebuke! Why oh why is there no Jabber support in this forum? Why must I have a ICQ AIM MSN Yahoo-Account to be able to get in contact with other users. There is such a better alternative with opensource software called: Jabber(Xmpp). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jabber C'mon: F...
