I am still looking for the solution to this problem Mint inherited from Ubuntu.

It does not show the disk partition at step 4/7 of installation. So you can't go ahead.

Many of my friends report the same.

Ubuntu et al will soon lose the faith if this is ignored. I tried to report this to ubuntu forum but their forum is so restrictive and complex that I didn't bother.

Free beer starting to show its price?

I can't work out why we're restricted to voting on 3 backgrounds.

An old one, a busy new one, and a boring new one.

And no-one seems to be willing to even modify any of them.

By the way, i like the new logo (comment #12).

Why is Mint loosing steam on distrowatch. It used to be consistently ranked #3, now dropped to 4 after overtaken by OpenSuse. I know these don't really mean anything, but it could also mean other distros are making rapid progress with releases or offering more w.r.t Mint. Maybe Mint need to be more aggressive w/o compromising the quality.

Just a thought!!

Air Mint is just perfect, in my opinion. Nice, clean and new. But to make an impression Mint needs something more... dynamic. Not as dynamic as Fresh, thoygh.
Well, I guess Air is close to Dew, so it's my choice, but perhaps it's not the best one.

Like MB,I also love the Air Mint wallpaper(http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=27439)

It's simply a beautiful and non-distracting wallpaper(pretty much like Dew in this sense).

Here's another Zwopper one that is far superior to Fresh for initial impression and desktopiness: http://zwopper.deviantart.com/art/Mint-Droplets-132389519

Hello again,

it would be nice if we could have countdown timer on main page to know for how long we need to wait final release.
Cheers,
